We’ve written our fair share of new casino reviews. And what we’ve found is that most new casinos suck.
Why do they suck?
Cafe Casino Your online slots destination for good vibes and better bonuses.
For various reasons, such as:
But this review is different. We’re a bit more optimistic because we’re going to talk about Café Casino – a brand new casino that launched in 2016.
We feel differently about them because they have (at the very least) business ties to Bovada.lv, Slots.lv, Bodog and Ignition Casino – all casinos we recommend on this site. For that reason, we feel Café Casino is a bit better than your average new casino.
But let’s get one thing straight –
This doesn’t mean you should trust this casino outright. Or, that you should forego any due diligence. Or, that you can skip reading this review.
We’re not saying that at all – because you shouldn’t.
All we’re saying is you can be more optimistic – maybe let your guard down and give these guys a fighting chance – because they’re in good company.
Assuming they’re a good fit for you. But there’s only one way to find out.
Enjoy the review.
Here are the banking options Café Casino accepts, along with their processing times and min/max limits.
All deposits are free. This is a BIG PLUS considering Bovada and Ignition Casino charge fees on their deposits.
One interesting thing about their cash out options is that they post higher limits for VIP players. You can cash out as much as $3,000 for bitcoin, $2,500 for credit cards and $9,500 for bank wires if you’re a VIP member.
Café Casino doesn’t post their fees on their site. When we asked them about it, they sort of danced around the topic and recommended we use bitcoin. When asked again, they said it depends.
We would’ve liked a more straightforward response. But other than that their banking is par for the course.
Café Casino doesn’t have as many offers as we’d like. But it’s possible it’s because they’re new. We’ll cut them some slack now, and reevaluate their offers again in 6-12 months.
Here’s what they got for now.
You get to choose from two welcome offers:
The Super Play is a 500% match bonus up to $1,000. Deposit the max $1,000 and Café Casino will give you an additional $5,000. Your total bankroll will be $6,000.
This is easily one of the largest, if not these largest bonus (from a legit casino) available to American players. It has an average 35x rollover.
The No Max is a 100% match bonus up to $1,000. Deposit the full amount and you’ll have $2,000 total to play with.
Note:The ‘no max’ bit refers to there not being a limit to the amount of winnings you can cash out while using the bonus.
The playthrough for this offer is 25x, which is approx. 33% better than the first bonus. You’ll get less money, sure, but you’re more likely to clear the offer and walk away with extra money in your pocket.
Last up, there’s a $10 free chip offer for all players who haven’t made a deposit. You don’t have to make a deposit to get it, but you do have to roll it over 60x, and you’re limited to $125 in winnings.
And like most casinos, Café Casino has a few exceptions regarding their rollover requirement. Some games will only clear a fraction of the total rollover if you choose to play them while on a bonus.
Here are those games and their rollover requirements:
What this means is you’ll need to wager anywhere from 500x to 1200x, depending on the game you play and the offer you’re clearing.
What we like about this is how Café Casino lets you play roulette or single deck blackjack to clear their offers. Many casinos don’t.
On the other hand, it’s honestly not worth it if you have to wager thousands or tens of thousands to clear a couple hundred or even a couple thousand in bonuses.
The choice is yours, though.
Refer friends to Café Casino and they’ll pay you $100. To receive the bonus, both you and your friend will need to deposit $25. This offer also has a 60x rollover.
This is a nice finder’s fee compared to other casinos who only pay you a percentage of your friends deposit. However, the $25 deposit (from you) and 60x rollover is a bit much.
And …that’s it for their core offers.
It’d be nice to have more bonuses or deals. But they ARE a newer casino, so perhaps this will change in the near future.
That said, they do have additional offers for existing customers:
The cash back and bonuses get a little boost once you’ve made over $25,000 in lifetime deposits and earn 50,000 Café Points within any given month. That’s a nice little incentive to play more often.
The core of any online casino is their game selection. The larger the selection, the more diverse the selection, the better.
It looks like Café Casino’s on the right track.
They have more than 200 games to play from leading US-facing software companies, including Genesis Gaming, Real Time Gaming and Rival Gaming.
Here’s a list of all the games you can play.
Café Casino has more than 150 different slot machines. What’s great about their selection is the variety. You can play slots with:
And more. Here are the titles they currently offer:
You can play slots for as little as $0.01 per line (like a brick and mortar casino). It varies, but you can place bets as high as $100 to $150 (per spin).
Café Casino offers a smaller selection of blackjack games than what we’re used to. But it’s par for the course from Real Time Gaming (most US-facing) casinos.
Here’s what you can choose from:
All their blackjack games have table limits of $1 to $500 per hand. These limits will work for most players, except for the rare few that want to play for thousands or tens of thousands per hand.
One common complaint we’ve seen about these games is how, if you split aces or tens and get a blackjack on either/both hands, you won’t be paid for a ‘natural’ blackjack at 3:2. Casino experts say this is an unusual rule – a rule that’s not in the player’s favor.
Café Casino’s table game selection is on the small side, too. That side, the most popular games are there, so most players shouldbe happy.
Your options include:
Table limits vary from game to game. $1 is the common minimum table stakes. Max table stakes ranges from $100 to $500, depending on the game you’re playing.
They have nearly a dozen video poker titles. Your options include:
One thing we like about their video poker games is the different hand variations. You can play 1, 3, 10 or 52 hands at a time.
One thing we don’t care for so much is that, if you removed the ‘deluxe’ or ‘bonus’ variations of some of the games, you’ll find that you have fewer truly unique game variations to play. So, it’d be nice if they added a few more titles.
As for limits, you can play for as little as $0.01/hand, though it’s better strategy to bet the max 5-unit bet if you can swing it. That means betting a min of $0.05 per round.
The max you can bet per hand is $25, or $125 if you make the 5-unit bet.
They have a nice and diverse selection of ‘specialty’ games. The titles you can play include:
Stakes vary from game to game, but $0.01 will be the lowest min bet you can make.
We couldn’t find a download link anywhere on their site. This leads us to believe they don’t have one, but instead you’re to play in their instant play casino from your browser.
Pro Tip:Read our no download casino pages to learn why these are almost always better than casino downloads.
You can play from any compatible browser, though the most common and your best options will be Chrome, Safari and Internet Explorer. Any operating system who support these browsers (Windows, Mac, Linux) should be able to play here.
During our review, we also checked out their mobile casino.
The good news is – as best as we can tell – you don’t need to download an app to play their games. Their website is mobile responsive, which means all you have to do is go to their site from your phone or tablet.
What’s so-so about their mobile casino is that we noticed that some of their game sections, like blackjack, are even smaller than their desktop version. They have few blackjack, table and video poker game selections as is, so it’d be nice if they included all of them for mobile players.
The bad news is we couldn’t tell for sure if all sections were affected because our browser crashed several times while trying to use their site (on an iPhone 6s using Google Chrome).
They have a solid selection of games. It’s a good mix of slots, table and video poker games. Though it’d be nice to have more options in some areas, especially in their mobile casino.
That said, other than our comments above, it’d also be nice to see live dealer table games or even licensed slots. But are a challenge, though, given this is a US-facing site. Most, if not all software companies who have these games won’t work with them.
So, this is a minor complaint, and nothing we can truly hold against Café Casino.
If you have any questions or need help, you can reach out to Café Casino’s support team using the following options:
It’d be nice to see live chat, but so long as their email and phone support is fast and helpful enough – and we have no reason to think they won’t be – then you probably won’t miss the live chat option.
Here are the things we like most about Café Casino:
To summarize – Café Casino is in good company. And, in many ways they’re similar to their cousin sites, yet different enough (like no banking fees, for example) to justify existing.
Here are some of the things we think Café Casino can improve:
To summarize – we’d like to see more information about the company and their ongoing offers. Their withdrawal limits and some bonus playthroughs can be improved, too.
Bottom line – we’re liking what we’re seeing from Café Casino.
What’s great about them is they’re not carbon copies of Bovada or Ignition. There are enough differences here between their banking fees, offers and games to still justify having an account.
That said, they only offer an online casino with no intention (as far as we know) to add a sportsbook or poker room. For that reason, it might make more sense for some players to check out Bovada or Ignition Casino instead.
But if you’re only interested in casino games, or perhaps you simply need a change of pace or a new bonus to clear, then – as of now – we see no reason why you shouldn’t give Café Casino a shot.

Guest Review, Waters Café and Pívat Cigar Lounge:
Great for a quick bite to eat and quiet enough for our meeting. What a great surprise to find the new Pivat Cigar Lounge open. We had a great cigar and a scotch after dinner while watching the Monday night game. Congratulations Agua Caliente Casino on a terrific new lounge that will surely be a success. You spared no expense. Beautifully crafted and top of the line. Enjoyed my time here and will be back.
